Spector Roseman & Kodroff was recently appointed Co-lead Counsel in an antitrust class action against the largest manufacturers of interior molded doors. The defendants: Masonite; JELD-WEN; and JELD-WEN Holding, control approximately 85% of the market. The case, pending in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia, alleges that defendants conspired to fix the prices of interior molded doors. The complaint alleges that starting with price increase announcements in late 2012, defendants agreed to adopt and implement uniform price increases. This harmed customers by artificially inflating the prices paid for interior molded doors.
