Cary Zhang
Cary clerked for the Honorable Michael L. Ravin in the Essex County, New Jersey Criminal Court and assisted the Honorable Viktoria Kristiansson as a judicial intern in the Family Court of the Philadelphia County Court of Common Pleas. Her experience also includes internships with the Camden County, New Jersey Prosecutor’s Office and the Montgomery County, Pennsylvania Office of the Public Defender.
While at Temple University Beasley School of Law, Cary was a Law and Public Policy Scholar, served as a teaching assistant for constitutional law, and won several awards for trial advocacy. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Pittsburgh and graduated magna cum laude.
Cary volunteered with the ACLU-PA, the Education Law Center and AEquitas, a Washington D.C. nonprofit focused on developing, evaluating, and refining prosecution practices related to gender-based violence and human trafficking.
In addition to English, Cary speaks Spanish and Mandarin Chinese. In her free time, she enjoys volunteering at Green Street Cat Rescue and playing the piano.
